It is that time of year where our minds go into a reset. A reset of the season, reset of the clock, reset of the sunrise and sunset and reset of the next season of our life. It is a lot of change, but it all happens gradually enough that we are able to slowly transition into winter.
So, as your mind starts to wander into the fall/winter transition, let us allow our mind and body to transition into this next season with our health in mind.
Being healthy is hard. It takes time, consistency and dedication. That is why many of us continue to not make it a priority and not give it the time it deserves. Think of it another way…..
Everything we do or don’t do is either feeding disease or fighting it. That is our reality!!!
Now is the time to RESET your mind and focus on your health. Focus on feeding your body with everything it needs to THRIVE!!
Here are 5 ways to do just that. They are simple to do, but not always easy to make a priority. Make a list everyday and check them off.
1. Feed your body with nourishing food.
2. Drink half your bodyweight in ounces of water per day.
3. Get at least 30 minutes per day of exercise. Find something you enjoy and just do it!
4. Make self-care a priority. Do the things you love most and do them as often as you can.
5. Get enough sleep. 7-9 hours is ideal.
